Convert PNG to WEBP

A photograph saved as PNG is often several times larger than it needs to be, because PNG stores every pixel exactly whether or not anyone could tell. Converting that photo usually cuts the size by 80% or more with no visible difference. Converting to WEBP is how you make a page lighter without making it look worse: the same picture, roughly a third fewer bytes, and no browser released in the last five years will struggle with it.
